Recipe provided by Ann T.. "Simple, easy and very tasty side dish. Try it tonight for dinner!"


  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water (rice and water, please follow directions on package)
  • 3 tbs unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


  1. Make Jasmine rice (or other favorite rice) without butter.
  2. Melt 3 tbs of unsalted butter until it browns, in a frying pan.
  3. Add a handful of pecan pieces and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add rice to the butter and pecan mixture and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and serve!
