2009 Event Schedule
Day Events (Held at Moore Park)
| 11am - 5pm | Inflatables - One wristband is good for all inflatables on the baseball field from 11 am - 5 pm. They can be purchased for $5 at the Information Booth. |
| 12 noon | Parade - Down High Street to the Moore School. The Shriners High Rollers will be in the parade this year! |
| 1 - 4 pm | Sean from "I'm Not a Clown" - Located in the field w/ the inflatables, Sean will amaze you with his balloon twisting. I'm Not A Clown Website |
| 1 - 4 pm | Fitts Museum - Visit "Candia's Treasure on the Hill" and be transported back in time as you tour this early New Hampshire country home. Admission is free. Fitts Museum Website |
| 1 pm | BJ Hickman, Magician - A family-oriented magic show sure to entertain all ages. BJ Hickman Website |
| 2 pm | Jangle - Playing classic light-rock favorites from the 60s and 70s, this band is local and fabulous. |
| 3 pm | NH School of Dance |
| 4 pm | ATA Karate of Candia |
Evening Events (Held at Moore School)
| 5 pm | Town Picnic, hosted by the Candia Masons and the Candia Boy Scouts - The meal will include barbeque chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob, watermelon and a drink. Tickets can be bought at the Information Booth or at the Spaghetti Supper at the Masonic Hall on August 28. Adults: $7.00; Kids, 12 and under: $4.00. |
| 5 - dusk | Music by Henderson's Pickin' Parlor |
| 6 - dusk | Jousting tournament - Test your agility, stamina and balance and sign up for the first-ever Candia Jousting Tournament. Standing on an elevated platform and using a padded jousting pole, you will attempt to knock your opponent off his/her platform. Last contestant standing wins! Make sure to sign up at the Information Booth. |
| 7 pm | Pie-eating contest - Get messy and have fun. For all ages |
| 8:30 pm | FIREWORKS! - Remember to bring lawn chairs or blankets, your bug spray, and a flashlight. The fireworks will go off at dark. |
